Pottery collection from the 2015 survey - find fields: 25+26 (0001:999:073)

On the 29.07.2015, a survey was conducted on the West side of the Höyük (find fields 25 and 26) by D. P. Mielke, F. Rösch, M. Klein, H. Mohammed and C. Demiralp.
The investigation was based on the observation of aerial photos which shows clear traces of a rectilinear structure.

Notes:

There is a considerable number of pithoi among the Late Bronze Age rim fragments.

The Late Bronze Age bottoms consists of: 1 bathtube bottom; 2 pithoi; 4 Standrigeboden; 3 round bottom; 3 flat bottom).

One Iron Age flat holed handle was found.

Wall fragments and other forms: Cooking pots stander - 2
Late Iron Age painted pottery - 1
Chalcolithic wall fragment - 1
LBA Pithoi and Bath tube - 3
Simple wall fragments - 12

The concentration of the retrievements corresponds with the location of the structure discovered through the aerial photos in the NW side and E corner of the field. The parallel structure in the south of the field was recognisable not because of the pottery finds but because of the remains of a wall under the vegetation. The main part of the finds belongs to big shapes of pithoi and handles, mainly dating to the Late Bronze Age.
