Erdprobe (7383:059:017)

Four seed types, 3 weed seeds and 1 possible legume. Need access to a seed atlas to confirm. Some small land snails and small amounts of charcoal. Seeds exhibit signs of radiant heat but not full carbonisation. Seeds are very dry and inflexible.

Seed Type 1 is Fumaria - Flowering wild weed, can have use as a herbal medicine
Seed Type 2 is Ajuga or Teucrium - Bugleweed or Germanders, from the mint family
Seed Type 3 Indet.
Seed Type 4 is Heliotropium - Fragrant flower, ethnological use to treat warts and inflammation.

Although three of the weeds may have some medicinal uses I suspect that their deposit maybe the result of insect or small animal hoarding. Are there any indication of insect or small animal disturbance for the context or was it well sealed?
