The soil from pit Locus:7685:146 is extremely moist in character (almost muddy). The color of the material is brownish-grey with intermixed patches of yellow.
Found amongst its contents were pottery, animal bone and stones.
Remains of wood were found inside pit Locus:7685:146 (see Bild no. 18070) .
One possibility is that it is need be viewed as a (rubbish?) pit inside wall/pavement Locus:7685:145 . The latter can be associated with architectural phase I of the south facade of the central building complex. Other connected features are wall/pavement Locus:7685:145 , wall Locus:7685:013 , wall Locus:7685:038 , stone installation/pavement Locus:7685:132 , wall Locus:7685:100 and floor Locus:7685:149 / Locus:7785:086 . More details are given in the final report of the 2011 excavation season.
