Locus:7685:024 is located below tomb Locus:7685:015 , in the southwest corner of excavation unit 7685.
In 2010, the pit has not been excavated.
2011
The pit fill is made up of yellowish-grey soil. It contains a good many pieces of pottery. Animal bone was also abundantly found. The material is very loose. Cobbles, small pieces of (burnt) mud-brick, chalky material and bits of charcoal also came to light.
At an elevation of c. 283.60 the color of the fill started to change. It can be described as greyish-yellow. The locus number was changed into Locus:7685:052 . For more details see Locus:7685:052 .
