Kontext 7685:032 (Grube: Pit adjacent to wall Locus:7685:041)

Locus:7685:032 represents a pit located east of Locus:7685:031 .

The color of the soil is grayish-brown/yellow. The consistency of the soil is relatively loose. It contains small stones, white chalky material, bone material (human?), bits of burnt mud-brick (e.g. red, yellow and green), pieces of charcoal and only little pottery.

Another feature, tentatively identified as a pit, is located adjacent to pit Locus:7685:032 , namely Locus:7685:039 (cf. Zusatzbild no 14609). The stratigraphic relationship between both loci still needs to be elucidated.

A long bone fragment identified as human by N. Atas, is protruding from the south wall of pit Locus:7685:032 .

The bone protruding for the south wall of pit Locus:7685:032 turned out to be animal. It still formed part of the original pit fill. Note that pit Locus:7685:032 was dug through wall Locus:7685:038 .

Pit Locus:7685:032 is bell-shaped in form.
