Tomb Locus:7685:048 consists of a single layer of small to medium-sized stones. The stones were originally conceived of as covering a skeleton (cover stones), the skull of which could be observed in the adjacent east wall of pit Locus:7685:034 . The stones, however, need probably be interpreted as (pit) fill, having fallen inwards due to the tilting of the (actual) rooftiles, which were found directly beneath them (tomb Locus:7685:051 ).
The tomb has a length of ca. 2.00 m. Its width measures ca. 40-50 cm.
