The second layer, originally conceived of as a second layer of fill, based on its (relatively) loose soil consistency and general contents, may also be interpreted as a new distinct layer running along the west face of wall Locus:7685:038 .
The color of the soil yellowish-brown/grey. Only few pieces of pottery and bone were found. It contained small pieces of white chalk, as well as bits of burnt mud-brick and charcoal. The consistency of the soil is loose.
