On 04.08.11, it was decided to cut back the west baulk of excavation unit 7685 in order to get a more even west baulk than had been the case before. The prior irregularity of the west baulk had mainly been caused by last year's heavy rain showers (affecting the northwest corner of the square) (September 2010).
The new baulk, where preserved - its southwest section was removed last year in order to excavate two Hellenistic/Roman cist-tombs (Locus:7685:015 and Locus:7685:018) found there - has a width of 15 cm.
