Kontext 7685:072 (Grube: Pit adjacent to wall Locus:7685:081)

Pit Locus:7685:072 is located adjacent (south) of pit Locus:7685:058 / Locus:7685:068 . The soil is very loose and is yellowish-grey or black in color. It contains pottery, animal bone, small stones and pieces of chalk and charcoal.

The pit seems to have cut into tomb Locus:7685:051 (east corner). Pit Locus:7685:072 itself, however, appears to have been disturbed by pit Locus:7685:058 / Locus:7685:068 .

The bottom of pit Locus:7685:072 is marked by a yellowish surface consisting of (unburnt) mud-bricks.
