Locus:7685:31 is located on top of the (unburnt) mud-brick wall running in a southwest-northeast direction (Locus:7685:038 ).
The interpretation of Locus:7685:031 is not completely clear. It could have been a shallow pit or - more likely - a layer of dirt filling (erosion?) a depression or cavity (rain?) within or above wall Locus:7685:038 .
The color of the soil is yellowish-gray. The soil is relatively hard in consistency. It contains small stones, white chalky material, roots and small bits of burnt mud-brick. No pottery was found.
