Locus:7685:066 is located adjacent (south) to pit Locus:7685:028 . It was intended to develop a better understanding of the different colors that were recognizable on the surface. A few cm of dirt were removed before a separate locus could be singled out (pit Locus:7685:067 ) (at least what was left of it), located on the western edge of Locus:7685:066 .
Locus:7685:066 was continued. It can probably be identified with a fill layer running against the west face of wall Locus:7685:038 .
The soil is greyish-brown in color. It has a loose consistency. The earth contains medium-sized potsherds and fragments, some of which are large, of animal bone, bits of chalk and small to medium-sized stones.
