Layer Locus:7685:089 is located in the northwest corner of square 7685. Although initailly conceived of as representing part of a potential fill layer, at least the northwestern part thereof, can, now, be interpreted as an unburnt mud-brick wall.

The soil was relatively moist, which can be explained as the result of the presence of a hole or pit in wall/pavement Locus:7685:145 .
