Kontext 7685:107 (Versturz: Collapse material in-between wall Locus:7685:100 and wall Locus:7685:013)

Layer Locus:7685:107 is located in-between wall Locus:7685:100 (west), wall Locus:7685:013 (north) and the east baulk of square 7685.

The soil is very loose. The color is reddish-brown to black. It contains a sizeable amount of burnt materials (pieces of mud-brick, stones, pottery, animal bone, chalk, etc.).

Surface Locus:7685:036 , on top of which wall Locus:7685:045 was founded, is deposited on top of layer Locus:7685:107 .

Layer Locus:7685:107 is deposited on top of floor Locus:7685:149 , which seems to correspond with floor Locus:7785:086 . Both floor Locus:7685:149 and floor Locus:7785:086 are characterized by a series of shallow depressions/pits that were probably used - among other things - for storing pottery (for further discussion see floor Locus:7685:149 ).
