Kontext 7685:112 (Boden: Floor level below mud-brick collapse (e.g. layer Locus:7685:102, Locus:7685:097 and Locus:7685:096))

Floor Locus:7685:112 came to light directly beneath the mud-brick collapse deposited in front of wall Locus:7685:013 (north) and wall Locus:7685:038 (west). Corresponding loci are Locus:7685:089 / Locus:7685:102 , Locus:7685:096 , Locus:7685:097 , Locus:7685:090 and Locus:7685:091 .

The floor is made up of a thin - but hard - layer of clay or loam. Its color varies from grey to reddish-brown/black. Bild no. 16553 shows a cross-section of floor Locus:7685:112 . The top layer - i.e. the actual floor - is only one to two cm thick. Attached to the floor is a blackish layer, the deposit, on top of which floor Locus:7685:112 was laid.

Another locus associated with floor Locus:7685:112 - is floor Locus:7685:124 .

No finds can be brought into connection with floor Locus:7685:112 (cf. floor Locus:7685:124 ).

Features connected with floor Locus:7685:112 / Locus:7685:124 are plaster Locus:7685:099 , wall Locus:7685:127 and (possibly) wall Locus:7685:041 (architectural phase II of the south facade of the central building complex).
