Wall Locus:7685:120 can be identified as the foundation ditch of wall Locus:7685:038 . On Bild. 16697 it can be recognized as the (loose) darkish layer located adjacent to wall Locus:7685:121 .
The occurence of a foundation ditch makes clear that - originally - wall Locus:7685:038 must (largely) have been invisible, i.e. hidden below ground level . A ditch (Locus:7685:120 ) was cut into earlier strata in order to accomodate wall Locus:7685:038 . The (cut of the) ditch is clearly recognizable in the west section of the square.
