Kontext 7685:155 (Ablagerung: Layer below layer Locus:7685:147)

Layer Locus:7685:155 represents the continuation of layer Locus:7685:147 .

Only one spit of soil was removed before changes were observed and a new locus was begun (i.e. layer Locus:7685:156 ). The material is similar to that excavated in conjunction with layer Locus;7685:147 .

The soil is moist and greenish-grey in color. It contained small stones, potsherds, fragments of animal bone, pieces charcoal and bits of white chalky material.

Locus:7685:147 was not continued since the foundation stones on the east side of wall Locus:7685:038 started to float. Moreover, small stones had started to appear in front of wall Locus:7685:013 . These can be interpreted as the stone bedding for wall Locus:7685:158 , i.e. the foundation stones of wall Locus:7685:013 .
