Locus:7784:020 can be identified as a pit filled with (white) ashy material.
The color of the soil is grayish-white. Its consistency is loose. Few larger pieces of pottery could be collected. The pit had been sealed by a (shattered) vessel (Fund:7784:020:001 ).
Locus 20 can tentatively be connected with a construction horizon (cf. pits at Menelaion dug into the sub-floors of Mansion 1, which have been similarly interpreted as part of a construction horizon, Catling 2009, also cf. Tagebucheintrag 17.08.10 and final report Area 3 by J. Eerbeek).
