Kontext 7884:003 (Mauer: external wall tower-gate building complex)

Wall Locus:7884:003 is located in the northwest corner of the excavated area. It represents the continuation of wall Locus:7784:025 in excavation unit 7784.

Its southern face, of which - at least at this moment - two courses are visible, is constituted by a series of large boulders, measuring 50 cm x 30 cm and 40 cm x 20 cm in size.

The wall fill consists of small- and medium-sized stones. The boulders forming the southern face of wall Locus 3 are embedded in Locus:7884:002 , previously observed in conjunction with wall Locus:7784:022 , Locus:7784:023 , Locus:7784:024 and Locus:7784:025 .
