Locus:7885:008 refers to the hard yellowish mud-brick surface running along the east face of wall Locus:7885:009 .
The color of the soil is whitish-yellow. The soil consistency is hard.
Similar material runs (e.g.) along the south face of wall Locus:7884:003 in square 7884, i.e. Locus:7884:002 , as well as the south face of wall Locus:7784:025 , i.e. Locus:7784:027 , in the latter case of which the color of the soil is red.
Locus:7885:008 may also be interpreted as the (lower) packing of a floor level (cf. e.g. Locus:7784:027 ), which, sadly enough, appears to have eroded away.
