Locus:7886:012 is a grey-brown soil with some red and white inclusions, the red being mudbrick pieces, the white chalk pieces. Also so black speckles of charred grain can be seen near the 22nd step.
In this locus two steps were fully exposed: numbers 22 (277.53) and 23 (277.34).
On top of the 22nd step a circa two centimetre thick layer charred grain was found, here the grain is directly lying on the stone. A sample was taken Fund:7886:012:004.
The usual large numbers of Iron Age pottery were found and the many animal bone fragments.
